Violence and Vandalism
The laws of New Jersey require school personnel to maintain order, discipline, and safety in the schools. New Jersey State Statutes clearly indicate that parents/guardians will be held liable for any and all damages incurred by the student – including textbooks and the property of others. Any acts of violence or vandalism will be reported to the police. Students may be required to make restitution for acts of vandalism. Writing on walls, defacing school property, or damaging school equipment is not permitted.
