The mission of the Howell Township School Counseling Department is to implement a developmental, comprehensive, school counseling program which recognizes and respects the unique qualities of each student. The Howell Township counseling program focuses on academic achievement, prevention programs, intervention activities, student advocacy, social/emotional development, and career awareness. The program strives to promote and enhance students’ achievement by collaborating with other educators, the families of the students, and members of the community in order to assist students in acquiring skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to be responsible and productive citizens.
