Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) of Howell

School districts are required to have a special education parent advisory group.  The purpose is to provide input to the district on issues concerning students with disabilities.

In Howell Township, we have a parent committee called SEPAC which stands for Special Education Parent Advisory Committee. The mission of the Howell Township  Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is to facilitate communication between students, parents, staff, the Board of Education, and the community, with regards to the districts’ special education programs, for the purpose of advising the administration on matters pertaining to improving the quality of special education district wide.

We are looking for parents that are interested in joining SEPAC.  If you are interested in becoming a member of SEPAC, please contact either the SEPAC organization directly at, or Ms. Dorothea Fernandez, Director of Pupil Services by phone at (732)751-2480 x3805 or  by email at
