Dear Parents/Guardians:

Our online kindergarten registration process for children who will be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2013, is now closed. Parents and guardians who need to register a student for kindergarten should now contact the school the child will attend. Registration documents are still available at the links below for your convenience.

In an effort to streamline and simplify the process, we have worked with the district’s OIT Department to give you access to all of the necessary paperwork so that you can complete the registration from any computer that has internet capability. Once you have completely filled out the online portion of the registration, you will receive instructions, via email, for the in-person verification process which includes presenting the following documents:

• Original birth certificate with a raised seal and a copy for our records
• 2 proofs of residency original documents and copies for our records (i.e., drivers license, utility bill, etc.)
• Health record to be completed by your child’s pediatrician.

For those parents who are unable to access the internet from home, please be reminded that the kindergarten registration process can be completed from ANY computer with internet access (local libraries have computers with this capability available to you.)

If you are unable to utilize the computer to register your child for kindergarten, other arrangements can be made for you. Please call Theresa George at the help desk, (732) 751-2480 ext. 3807, to obtain further information. We will be happy to accommodate your needs.

Later this spring, a time will be arranged for you and your child to visit our schools and become familiar with our program. In the meantime, we would appreciate it if you would share this information with others who have children eligible for kindergarten, and who might not otherwise receive this notice.
