Project SOAR, Strengthening Opportunities for Achievement through Remediation, is a program especially designed to further meet the needs of special education students. It will enable teachers to provide additional focused instructional time for classified students in grades 6-8 with the goal of reducing educational gaps in language arts and moving on to include mathematics by eighth grade. Through involvement in research based direct instruction and multi-sensory techniques, our students will be afforded increased opportunities for success in these critical academic areas.
